Every once in a while, we get to capture a session that feels like pure adventure from start to finish—and Liz and Ben’s engagement session in the Tampa Bay area was exactly that. These two planned the perfect day to reflect who they are: fun, easygoing, and completely in love. From morning coffee to a sunset on the beach, their session was one of our favorites to date.
The day started slow and sweet, with coffee in hand and a stroll through the peaceful trails of Weedon Island in St. Pete. Surrounded by winding paths and lush Florida scenery, Liz and Ben were totally at ease, laughing and soaking in the moment together. It set the perfect tone for the rest of their session—relaxed, genuine, and full of connection.
Next came the part of the day that truly showed off their adventurous side—a canoe ride out on the water. Watching them paddle together, teasing each other, and sharing smiles along the way was such a highlight. It wasn’t just about the photos—it was about capturing them doing something that felt natural and fun, creating memories they’ll hold onto long after the wedding day.
To wrap up the evening, we headed to the beach just in time for sunset. The sky put on a show, painting the horizon with warm colors as Liz and Ben walked barefoot in the sand and enjoyed those last quiet moments together. It was the perfect ending to a day that captured not only their love story, but also their adventurous, fun-loving spirits.
Liz and Ben’s adventurous engagement session reminded us why we love what we do. Every part of the day felt so true to them, and it was such a joy to document their laughter, connection, and sense of adventure in such beautiful settings.
