We absolutely love the way Kaitlyn and Jonathan’s gallery turned out! After a few reschedules due to weather, this evening at Honeymoon Island rewarded us with the dreamiest golden light. Their session was the perfect mix of relaxed and romantic, from cozy and playful moments in the back of Jonathan’s pickup to enjoying a barefoot stroll on the beach. Simple, genuine, and completely “them,” it quickly became one of our favorite engagement sessions.
We started the session with the sweetest setup. To set the scene - Jonathan backed his truck right up to the water’s edge. where we then proceeded to fill his truck with blankets and pillows for maximum comfort to make it easy for them to find a cozy spot in the bed of the truck, Kaitlyn and Jonathan snuggled up, laughed together, and leaned into the quiet joy of being fully present with each other. These first moments captured the relaxed, easygoing energy that set the tone for the rest of the evening.
From there, the cozy vibe turned playful as they enjoyed snacking on some popcorn and also trying to toss pieces into each other’s mouths. Between the misses, the laughter, and the sweet attempts at teamwork, it made for some of the most fun and candid shots of the night. These photos showed off their best friend kind of love and the balance of romance and humor that makes their relationship so special.
As the sun dipped lower, the light wrapped around them in that unmistakable golden glow Florida is known for.
